friends , good friends , and best friends
how do u differentiate between them ?
how do u decided who belongs to where ?
how do u decided how they fit into the group ?
isit through the distance they are in ur heart ? the way u behave with them ? the things u share wit them ? or do u just place them as u think they belong ?

good friend , best friend ?

does good friend mean many ? and best friend one ?
or are they equal ?

i`ve had my share of friends , good friends and best friend .
throughout these years , they tend to come and go .
different groups in primary schoool , then it was secondary . and now college .

i had one best friend ,
she was my standard 1 friend .
we hung out everyday till we were in std 3 . she sat beside me in std 3 .
then one day , she told me she was shifting away to pj , so she had to change schools . i was reali sad . but we promised to write to each other . we wrote for afew yrs , i tink until form 2 . she moved afew times during those years . after that , we lost touch .
recently i met her again . altho we`ve grwon up, drifted apart .
she`s still close to my heart .
but ... after her , i promised that i would never have A best friend for as long as i lived . maybe i was young .. but since then , i`ve never had a best friend .
sad ? nahh .
i used to think it was because i felt that she walked out of my life . and that hurt . imagine if u were 9 , and the person u played wit , and talked to the most told u she`s goin away
but now i tink that maybe in a way , i couldnt find another person to replace her in my heart .

good friends .
some ppl say that good friends = best friends .
i duno about that , but i guess the ppl who are the closest to my heart are now my good friends .
hmm ......

i guess the important thing is not what position or grp they`re placed in , but rather the relationship between u and them . sometimes , it doesn`t even have to be a two - way thing . as long as u urself know who they are .
someone once told me that there are times when u feel that u`ve lost someone close to ur heart , but somehow at a time when u need them the most , they come back , sometimes even closer than before . those that come back ARE your good friends .

i know the ppl who are close to my heart .
whether u think im close to ur heart or not , is a different matter .
